We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of our team at the recent National show. Our whippets represented our dedication to sound health, conformation, and sweet temperament, bringing home top honours among wonderful competitors from across the country.
Filly (GCH McCartney's Vamos Sonadora at Parkside) was honoured with select bitch under 2 esteemed judges and then brought home an award off Merit in a group of > 60 top whippets. Johnny went Best Altered in Show (in the ltd breed show) with Briar at the helm! Our family had a ball travelling in New Brunswick and what a wonderful way to end our trip but to get to show off our sweethearts!
In addition to showing we had a ball exploring New Brunswick with Johnny and Filly. We started in Old Quebec before driving to Moncton and then went to Hopewell Rocks. We then visited Fundy National park and drove up the Fundy coastal highway. Dixen Falls was a highlight - an incredible microclimate and forest walk. Long beach was a dream -we were able to let the dogs run on the most wonderful soft sand footing. We enjoyed incredible food by the sea with the dogs on patios. We continued on to St. John and visited St. Andrew by the sea. Down town old St. John was really cool, we love historical buildings. After that it was on to Fredericton! Odel Park was beautiful and a great place to walk the dogs! It was incredibly special to share our family vacation with Johnny and Filly.
